2 x Gas surveyor/ Engineer (MOBS)

Job Type: Contract (Permanent may be considered)

Duration: 6 months with option to extend

Location: West Midlands (e.g. Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, etc.)

Salary: £35k - £45k per annum (PAYE / Ltd company considered)

Benefits: Accommodation costs if necessary

Hours of Work: 45 hours per week (9 hours per day, inclusive of half an hour lunch)

Job Description

We are looking for two Gas Surveyors/Engineers who are experienced in completing surveys for Multiple Occupancy Buildings. The client is willing to consider PAYE/Ltd company contract or permanent positions for this role and the successful candidate will be located in or around the West Midlands area.

The daily duties will include:

• Working on a MOBS (Multiple Occupancy Buildings) pre-enabling works contract in the West Midlands.

• Survey types include build risk surveys, design scoping surveys, condition surveys, and potential follow up remediation works.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Minimum requirement: Gas safe registered

• Preferred but not essential: SHEA gas passport, Bascom Turner training, Voltstick training, TSE081.

• Ideally experienced in completing MOBS surveys in the past and/or familiar with commercial / distribution standards and procedures.

• Experience in similar gas surveys (such as MRPS, valve etc) are acceptable as transferable skills.
