Our annual ISOQAR audit was held on 10th July 2018. Helen Colwill, Wilcock QHSE Compliance Manager, hosted Tom Bange and Mathew McComiskie from ISOQAR at Wilcocks Head Office in Barrow to audit the ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental) and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 (Health & Safety) Management Systems.

 

The audit went extremely well and the Auditors Summary (part of a detailed audit report) stated “The Company have a robust Management System.  All evidence was easily made available on request and all Staff in the Organisation were fully aware of their roles and responsibilities.  Management commitment was evident at the Meetings and throughout.  The company is recommended for Continued Certification to the 2015 Standards and 18001 (SSiP).”

 

The OHSAS 18001:2007 (Health & Safety) standard for which we hold a current certificate is being replaced by ISO 45001. OHSAS 18001 will be withdrawn on 12th March 2021 and Wilcocks is currently planning its migration to ISO 45001 with the audit date set for July 2019.
