Plant Technician - Jersey

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Plant Technician to join our clients team in Jersey! You will provide first line technical support and back up to fellow colleagues as well as deputise in the absence of the Plant Officer and respond to the daily functions of the department.
5-years’ experience in a gas or similar industry
Good knowledge of mechanical plant operation and maintenance
Proven experience of emergency processes in the mains, LPG and/or plant
Effective communication skills
Appropriate technical, operational and process knowledge relevant to gas and LPG
Decision making skills.
Self-motivated with a flexible and reliable approach
Full clean driving licence
Carry out all Safety checks onsite.
Routine maintenance of all Kosangas plant and equipment
The role may involve some driving HGV s to cover for holidays /sickness.
This role is Key for supporting the LPG Officer in their absence.
Drive a safety culture throughout the Kosangas site.
Desirable Skill Set:
BTEC Certificate in Engineering or equivalent
CMI L3 or equivalent
5-years’ experience in mechanical engineering environment
