The client:

The client is a UK gas and energy engineering specialist offering design, build and maintenance on critical national infrastructure for the UK gas asset owners. The client provides a comprehensive range of water infrastructure services covering all aspects of pipeline networks including investigation, design, planning infrastructure maintenance, mains rehabilitation, new connections, metering and repairs. Fixed Line Telecoms provide construction of networks including cabling, splicing and testing on networks.


To manage the correct applications for permits and all streetworks activities including effective monitoring.

Identify and avoid any unnecessary costs that could be incurred associated with NRSWA.

Produce all relevant construction information to allow for the operational delivery on site. Manage and maintain all associated documentation within ULIS management system.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Input of all permit requirements on relevant systems whilst complying with NRSWA requirements

  • Monitor and maintain compliance to minimise financial risk

  • Coordination with local authorities

  • Compilation and issuing of safe dig and work packs to operations

  • Record progress and documentation / status on ULIS database

  • Coordinate closely with Surveyor / Planner

  • Effective liaison with all stakeholders

  • All other duties reasonably designed
