Salary: £32k - £35k per annum dependent on experience - PAYE only
Expenses: Company vehicle provided and mileage paid as per HMRC

We are looking for an Asset Co-ordinator, specialising in Gas Distribution, to join our clients Asset Management team. This role is initially for a 6-month fixed term period. This will be a field-based role covering the North of England, primarily focused on the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to join a fast paced, dynamic team where they will contribute to the on-going success of the client.


The daily duties will include:


  • Undertake site-based inspections and surveys, ensuring that Last Mile assets are being constructed to the required standard

  • Work with external customers to ensure that construction issues are addressed and rectified.

  • Coordinate and conduct on-site investigations, reporting findings and recommendations

  • The Asset Co-ordinator will work with a variety of stakeholders to assure the quality of distribution assets during construction and commissioning.

  • Provide key support in areas such as escape response and network operations and maintenance.


The successful candidate will have the following:


  • Detailed knowledge of gas distribution network construction along with wider multi-utility experience.

  • Knowledge of the utility and construction sector, including understanding of the requirements of Lloyds Register GIRS and NERS schemes

  • Possess a working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHAS 1801 standards, including experience of internal auditing

  • Be a strong communicator able to present written and oral reports to a wide range of stakeholders

  • Able to demonstrate successful HSEQ experience in the construction / utility sector, preferably with associated HSEQ qualifications.

  • Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm, while displaying accuracy and attention to detail

  • Be a team player able to support colleagues
