- Manage the design, procurement,
implementation and installation of E&I projects
- Ensure that projects are carried
out to programme and within budget
- Support the Project Manager
(Construction) with the design, procurement, implementation
and installation of E&I aspects of major construction
projects
- Liaison with Maintenance, Asset
Management and other third parties
- Ensure projects are carried out
safely and in accordance with SGN policy and procedures
- Efficient management of
contractors within the specific Framework Agreement
- Reports to the Major Projects
and Construction Manager.

| Qualifications |
- Education: Candidate to have
minimum HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or HND in
Process Instrumentation and Control
- Experience: Candidate to have
Hazardous Area experience in a process industry. They
should have knowledge of ATEX (DSEAR), IEC61508, BS7671.
They should have some knowledge of earthing systems and back
up/stand-by systems such as Generators, UPS, Battery Charger
systems
- Awareness of Fire and Gas
Detection systems and Flow Metering would be an advantage
- Beneficial to be Electrically
Authorised in some form
- Candidate must be a
self-motivated individual, able to control budgets, people,
resources and tasks. They must be able to balance
conflicting priorities and challenging timescales. Must
be able to work with people at all levels.

Technicians Project/Site Engineers and Design Engineers are
required to work across a wide range of site locations.
In order to progress a number of
projects, Scotia Gas Networks are seeking to recruit a number of
E&I based personnel across a number of site locations for both
site and office based activities.
General duties will include design,
planning and co-ordination, site supervision and control of
operations to meet standards, procedures and health and safety
requirements. |

A full working and practical
knowledge of project management (PRINCE2 qualified) including
processes, components and techniques, technical knowledge of MS
Office, ability to understand business and technical documents,
understanding of project development methods.
Educated to degree level or
equivalent, PRINCE2 practitioner qualified, technical knowledge of
NG desktop applications, systems and infrastructure, business
knowledge including awareness of process change procedures,

| Responsibilities |
- Management of Integrity Services (IS)
project execution and contract management.
- Ensure project compliance with all
corporate and commercial practices and standards.
- Responsible for financial aspects of
projects, including regular review of cost, invoicing and cash
collection.
- Responsible for co-ordination of project
resource planning, customer reporting, and project accounts.
- Development of customer relations in
terms of communicating and implementing pipeline integrity
management processes (operations & maintenance, safety
& quality management, etc) and IS services.
- Development and provision of IS
proposals, and support of ITO (Inquiry To Order) function
including customer visits, when required.
- Deputise for Integrity Management (IM)
Lead Project Manager, as required.

| Qualifications
/ Requirements |
- Must be educated to graduate level.
- Must have oil & gas experience,
ideally within a pipeline operations and/or project
environment, incorporating the application of pipeline/asset
integrity management principles.
- Must have proven ability in managing
international projects/contracts, and multi-functional project
teams, particularly in a Middle East environment.
- Must be customer focused and committed to
delivering high quality services.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work
on their own initiative.
- Must have excellent analytical,
presentation and communication skills.
- Commercial knowledge and experience
gained in a customer service environment is preferred.
