WCL Maintains Environmental Gold Award

In July Wilcock underwent an environmental audit by Cumbria Business Environment Network (CBEN).

The audit covered:

• Policy, Aspects and Impacts;
• Legal Requirements; 
• Objectives;
• Environmental Management Programmes;
• Environmental Management and Operational Procedures;
• Training and Competence;
• Emergency Preparedness;
• Document Control.

Emma Greenshaw (the auditor) found Wilcock to be fully compliant.  She confirmed that the Company demonstrates commitment to continual improvement in both environmental performance and EMS management.

Wilcock retained the Gold Award for 2009 – 2010.
