OFGEM Awards OAMI Administration to Wilcock Consulting Ltd

After a competitive tendering process, Ofgem has appointed Wilcock Consulting as the new Service Provider for the administration of the Ofgem Approved Meter Installer (OAMI) Registration Scheme. The new Service Provider contract commenced on 1st January 2010. The contract will run for an initial period of six years.

The Ofgem Approved Meter Installation scheme was previously carried out by CORGI in tandem with their gas safety governance responsibilities, which they managed on behalf of the HSE.

Wilcock Consulting will register new applicants to the scheme, and conduct OAMI Surveillance Audits of those already on the register, with OAMI Surveillance Audits undertaken over a three-year cycle.
