Job Purpose

• C&I Surveyor required to survey control and instrumentation loops and produce red line mark up drawings.

Main Interfaces

• Project Manager, Project Engineer, Project Draughtsman and maintenance staff.

Key Tasks

• You will survey the process plant and produce red line mark ups or new drawings for CAD the operator to update/ produce in CAD.

• You will carry out a desktop survey using drawings, vendor data and modification packages to produce red line mark ups.

• You will transfer information from Instrument Loop Diagrams onto Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.

• You will be C&I Apprenticeship served and have experience of working on the surveying of gas processing plant including LNG for the production of drawings.

Qualifications

• Must be HNC or recognised equivalent.

• Must be COMPEX qualified and currently valid.

• Must possess a full UK driving licence.

Competencies

• Must have the ability to work on your own initiative and be able to communicate with others within a team environment.

Technical skills

• Must have CAD experience.

• Must have the ability to read and interpret P&IDs, ELDs and Instrument Loop Diagrams.

• Must have an understanding and application of requirements of DSEAR/ATEX.

• Must have an understanding and application of requirements of IEC61508 and 61511.

• Must have an understanding and experience of working with SCADA/DCS.
